FriEnt - Working Group on Development and Peace
Countries

News

FriEnt's priority countries are currently
  • Chad/Sudan,
  • Colombia,
  • Indonesia,
  • the Middle East,
  • Nepal and
  • South Caucasus

These countries have been blighted by violent conflict for decades. Both the roots of the conflicts and the opportunities for and approaches to settling the conflicts differ immensely. For FriEnt they represent examples, which illustrate various possibilities and constraints of peace building.

FriEnt hosts round tables on these countries, produces various publications and advises its members on specific issues.
